Isiah Carey is a two-time Emmy award-winning journalist who hosts The Isiah Factor: Uncensored based out of KRIV-TV, a Fox owned and operated station in Houston, Texas. Isiah has been telling stories for nearly 30 years across the country. Working in local television as a reporter and anchor in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee as well as at BET News and ‘The Travis Smiley Show’. Isiah got his broadcasting start on radio at the early age of 14 and first appeared on television at age 5 when he was selected by NBC in Baton Rouge to be the station’s “kid anchor” for a weekly segment. For the past 20 years, Isiah has dedicated his time to reporting in Houston, Texas. His efforts to highlight the plight of the homeless in 2009 earned him a proclamation and his own day from the City of Houston. Isiah’s community service involves “giving back” by providing air conditioners to the elderly and bringing awareness to Alzheimer’s, an issue close to him as he watched his own mother suffer as a result of dementia.
