Vivica A. Fox is an actress, producer, television personality, philanthropist, and accomplished business woman. With a number of iconic performances on both television and the silver screen, she has established herself as a linchpin in both Hollywood and Black culture.
Vivica began her career with roles on the daytime soap operas, Days of Our Lives and Generations, before moving on to a primetime role opposite Patti LaBelle in the NBC sitcom Out all Night. Her breakthrough came in 1996 with roles in two box-office hit films, Independence Day and Set it Off. She later went on to star in films, such as Booty Call, Soul Food, Two Can Play That Game, Boat Trip, and Kill Bill. From 2003 to 2006, Vivica costarred in and produced the Lifetime crime drama series Missing for which she received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. She has also produced a number of straight-to-video films and contended on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
